Ways To GET Involved
Every day an overwhelming number of youth are removed from their homes and placed into foster care. Studies have shown that once a child enters foster care, student success rates decrease. Multiple school changes cause behavioral and educational disruptions. Only 50% of youth in foster care graduate high school. Less than 10% graduate from college. Nearly 1 in 5 youth will become homeless after age 18 and teen girls in foster care are twice as likely to become pregnant by age 19.
By collaborating with Fostering LIFE your company has the opportunity to make a difference and alter the trajectory of youth in the system. All the while, your company is able to build morale, encourage teamwork, and promote a sense of corporate social responsibility.

We would not be able to support, encourage and empower foster youth without the support of fabulous volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for an event and/or mentoring foster youth, please contact us. We’d love to have you help us with our next program or outreach event. Corporate volunteers are always welcome as well.
